This season, Tarun Tahiliani moves away from the traditional fashion show to present ‘Navaratna’ — an immersive off-site showcase that reimagines how couture is experienced.
Presented as part of the India Couture Week 2026, taking place from July 23 to July 29, ‘Navaratna’ transformed Bikaner House into a multi-sensory walkthrough where craft, couture and technology converge. Rather than witnessing garments in fleeting moments on a runway, guests will journey through a series of immersive environments, each revealing a different facet of the Tarun Tahiliani universe.
At the heart of the experience is the dialogue between heritage and innovation. Through immersive scenography, projection mapping, digital installations and multimedia storytelling, technology becomes an extension of craftsmanship—framing and elevating the artistry behind each garment while remaining rooted in Tahiliani’s India Modern philosophy.
The showcase celebrates ‘Navaratna’, or “nine jewels,” bringing together the many expressions of the house through a carefully curated journey that highlights the diverse craft traditions, materials and design languages that have shaped the Tarun Tahiliani atelier over the past three decades. Designed as an experience rather than a conventional fashion presentation, the showcase encourages guests to pause, explore and appreciate the extraordinary detail, artistry and craftsmanship behind every creation.
It is a contemporary expression of Tahiliani’s India Modern philosophy, celebrating tradition through new ideas and immersive storytelling.
