There's a new music festival set to take over Goa this December; know more here

Amid Mumbai’s music concert and festival boom over the last few years and amid the new season, there is new music festival set to take place in Goa.
Indian live entertainment company Team Innovation has announced its new flagship music festival IP called ‘HOME’. The two-day, multi-genre music festival is scheduled to make its highly anticipated debut on December 29 and 30 taking over the coastal shores of Vagator in Goa.
More about ‘Home’ music festival
The launch of the brand-new IP, backed by Goa Tourism and supported by the Government of Goa, arrives at a critical juncture for the region, ever since Sunburn moved to Mumbai. Rather than leaning on international talent to draw crowds, ‘HOME’ is making a bold statement with an all-Indian headliner lineup. The debut edition is set to see Indian favourite Arijit Singh along with global Punjabi music sensation Karan Aujla. Notably, the festival curation resolves significant regional touring hiatuses for both the headliners. The event will officially mark Karan Aujla’s first-ever concert in Goa. The festival orchestrates a grand homecoming for Arijit Singh, marking his highly anticipated return to the state after a very long time. The ambitious new music festival comes on the heels of a massive wave of momentum for Indian live entertainment company freshly announcing Arijit Singh’s 2027 India tour and Darshan Raval 2026 India Tour, and have previously brought on subcontinental hitmakers including AP Dhillon, Karan Aujla, Krishna Das, Talwiinder and Rishab Rikhiram Sharma amongst others. Launching at a time when India’s live events industry is valued at a staggering Rs 20,861 crore, with the ticketed live music segment alone expected to touch Rs 1,864 crore, ‘HOME’ perfectly capitalises on a historic 682% surge in festival frequency across the country. Mohit Bijlani, Founder, Team Innovation states “For decades, India looked outward, waiting for international franchises and global star power to define the premium festival experience. ‘HOME’ aspires to completely rewrite that narrative with an uncompromising statement: an all-Indian headline bill. This property is built to be the sandbox for the subcontinent’s musical innovators and breakout talents, showing the world that our own music scene sets the global standard. Our audience is fiercely proud of its roots and with our artists currently driving global music culture, ‘HOME’ provides the world-class, experiential arena where homegrown talent is the global headliner with the fans being at the centre of the experience.” Driven by the tagline, ‘HOME Is Where The Heart Is’, the debut edition serves as the monumental celebration for the subcontinent’s musical pop titans, boundary-pushing electronic producers and breakout indie acts. In doing so, the property aims to frame the burgeoning Indian music scene as a primary global force while positioning local talent as standard-setting headliners. The festival boasts a sprawling lineup of over 30 artists. The genre-blurring programming features high-impact sets from commercial heavyweights Jasleen Royal, DJ Chetas and KING, alongside powerful live and electronic showcases from a diverse cohort of indie and next-gen club acts including Aarzu Boys ft. Khan & Noor, Afterall (Habibi Please), Ali Merchant, Banjaare, Jasmin Walia, JXGGI, Mxrci, Garvit Priyansh, Gini, Lijo, and Malavika Manoj. Championing the sound of the underground, the billing also features Pro Bros, Wish, Yung Raja, Aadyaa, Amare, Avneet Music, Dhyan Live, HRX, Mayur Jumani Live, Nitish Wadhwa, PRFCT & Dark, Rohan Mukati, Sazi, and Techtronix. Visually, the festival grounds will be transformed into a neon-hued wonderland by the acclaimed Aaquib Wani Design, the creative powerhouse behind India’s most iconic cultural spaces. Audiences can look forward to high-intensity experiential production and India’s largest-ever main stage layout. The festival is supported by banking partner HSBC and experience partner VISA, and will run daily from 1 pm to 10 pm. Tickets will be available on thumpN and District by Zomato. The exclusive HSBC Visa Credit Card pre-sale will commence from October 31 at 2 pm to November 2 till 1PM IST. General sale will commence from November 2 by 2 pm. Tickets and more details: get.thumpn.com/4AeGtR9
